Level 6: Training Plan
This level will be very important as it allows you to work around your home while your dog is confined. Many dogs have issues with this because they can hear you in the other room.
This will come in handy if you have a cleaner come in, a tradesperson, a visitor who is afraid of dogs, if you need some no-dog-time in your life, if you break a glass and need to clean it up without a canine supervisor, or if you have children in the home and need to manage the environment.
You’ll thank us for this one later. 🙂

- Leave the room for 30 minutes and then return to your puppy for 30-60 seconds
- Release your puppy from their crate or confinement area calmly, and let them go potty. Now assess your puppy’s progress:
How did your puppy do?
Zero signs of stress? Move on to the next level.
Signs of mild stress? Repeat this level.
Signs of severe stress? Stop and make it easier.
